Bay Sunsets

This was excellent accommodation for six friends, who live in different parts of South Australia, to get together for a few days. The house was very well equipped and provided everything we needed. We loved the location and the ability to wander the streets of Glenelg. Our favourite places were the secondhand bookshop/cafe on Broadway and the cinemas just off Jetty Road. The best time of the day in the house, was sitting in the lounge area and watching the sun set over Glenelg.

This is a fabulous apartment. Four of us - female friends from various other Australian States - flying in for a get together as Adelaide was a central meeting place. At Bay Sunsets, we had it all! We all had our own bedroom (space!), but had terrific lounge, dining, kitchen and outdoor areas where we could come together. Our four nights were not really enough - we were so relaxed, we didn't want to leave! We had hired a car, so appreciated the garage to park in. Best of all the location and view were ideal. The area was nice and quiet, even though the foot traffic along the beach path was busy. We joined in with the walkers by simply stepping out our front gate! It's only a short walk to Glenelg cafes, restaurants and shops. It's a short trip to the various wine areas - we chose McLaren Vale. It was an easy drive with a few stops along the way to enjoy a couple of our favourite drops - particularly at Shaw & Smith. The Elite Accommodation team were wonderful to deal with - friendly, flexible, reasonable and responsive. What's not to love!?!

We didn't want to leave, hence why we booked an extra night while we were there!!! We stayed here for our wedding in Adelaide, as we are from the mid north of South Australia. The house looked exactly like the photos except you could barely see through the windows, which was disappointing, as the view is huge part of what makes this house spectacular. However, with just a quick phone call to the friendly staff, they had someone out asap to clean them which dramatically improved the experience! The staff were very friendly and also allowed us to even check in a bit earlier than 2pm. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again for one of our anniversaries! Highly recommend!

The house gave us all the space and comfort we needed for a group reunion. Location is great, so easy to get around and the views are great. All of us had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Bay Sun to our families and friends.

What can I say, this place was MAGNIFICIENT it was so spacious, clean and the views were just breath taking, the house looks EXACTLY as it does in the pictures (its very rare that you get what you see). Definitely a 5* place and area. There were 2 families that stayed in this house 4 of us from Melbourne and 4 from New Zealand, the rest of our family stayed across the road in the Seawall Apartments which they all wished they could fit in our place:) It was everyone's first time in Adelaide (we were there for a wedding) and we just all LOVD LOVED LOVED it all thanks to this beautiful home and area, my adult children are still raving about this place and said they know where to stay next time they are in Adelaide. THANK YOU Elite Team you were a pleasure to deal with and the instructions to get into the house as well as our departure were easy to follow, we had no problems, ALSO 2 days later our Bond was returned, how awesome and quick was that… Recommending you guys to EVERYONE….Thank you once again

I neglected to personally write in the guest book. The property was fantastic and we all enjoyed staying in the house. We certainly took advantage of that magnificent kitchen/dining area....would have loved to have picked it up and taken it back to Melbourne with me. We really appreciated being able to access the house a little earlier on the Friday and even more so having the later check out on the Tuesday morning as our flights were not till early afternoon..so once again, thank you for making this possible. We look forward to returning to Bay Sunsets and will also check out some of your other properties that you have to offer. Do you only operate in South Australia> I have just received notification from the Commonwealth Bank that they have sent the bond to my account. Thank you for being so prompt. Cheers Kate

Hi Sally, Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback on my guest stay at Bay Sunsets. In one word my experience was outstanding – the facilities exceeded my expectations, the location, amenities, cleanliness and layout of the property was exactly what I had hoped for and more. I’ve stayed at several beachside properties (at seaside towns outside of Adelaide) and whilst they have been great experiences, I feel like I experienced a similar holiday at Glenelg with the benefit of having Jetty Road close by for easy access to a variety of shops. The kitchen in particular was very impressive – lots of space to move around, great size fridge and I was particularly impressed with the collection of wine glasses and tumblers. Everything was well stocked and considered to accommodate accordingly. The only item that was missing (or I couldn’t locate) was an iron and ironing board. Credit to you and the team at Elite as well, in terms of service and organising the booking, payments and general queries I found you all to be professional, friendly and very helpful. It gave me great confidence in securing the property and ensuring I was well taken care of. First impressions last and for me this was a very positive experience.
